When we formed Canadian Engineered Wood Products in 1999, our focus was to supply MSR and related products to the truss industry by applying the highest in customer service standards to accomplish this. We are proud to have achieved what we set out to do. With this success we have had the opportunity to watch CEWP grow in exciting ways. We have built healthy long term relationships with both customers and suppliers, expanded our team to include some of the best sales professionals in the industry and increased our areas of focus to include numerous new products. The vision we had in 1999 hasn’t changed. By contributing to our customer’s and supplier’s success, we, in turn, will continue to be successful.

Meet a few of
Canadian Engineered Wood Products Ltd. began operations in March of 1999 by three partners: Griffin Jones,Ferg Evans and Dave LeBreton. Starting with two locations, the corporate head office in Sylvan Lake, AB, and a sales office in Sidney, BC, the focus of the company was (and still is) marketing and distribution to the truss industry in Canada and the United States.
As Canadian Engineered Wood Products grew, we broadened our product area to include premium visual grade products with sales destined for the industrial/treating sectors. Soon after, "Lumber Manager", a computerized inventory management and tracking system was developed to allow CEWP to track every order, including tracing by rail car and truck.
In 2002, Canadian Engineered Wood Products was pleased to announce its agreement with Millar Western Forest Products to act as their sole distributer for MSR lumber products.
Canadian Engineered Wood Products remains committed to expanding its role in the international lumber marketplace. As the global market continues to expand and show strong growth potential for the future, Canadian Engineered Wood Products will be there.
